Just wondering what versions there are of the high vis dash. I know of two sorts, other than the VR-4 one. They are attached. Does anyone know of any other sorts?

I'm trying to find one that goes higher than 180kmh :)

Well the second one goes to 260 so surely that's good enough? Or do yu want an AYC with 260?

There's a huge number of variations:

AYC/non-AYC
Manual/5speed auto/4speed auto
GDI/non-GDI
160mph, 160km/h, 260 km/h
etc

I can live without the AYC bars, I was hoping for a dash with 240-260kmh markings, as well as ideally a tacho up to 9000rpm, then hopefully find a mitsi part number :)

I'm not worried too much about if it is an auto or not, or if it has gdi markings

Cool thanks barry. I'm thinking of just converting my speedo to show mph, it's just easier that way :)

Here's an idea...

The 260km/h gauge is presumably continental european spec - the speed limits are such that they need more than the 160km/h dial and in that pic above the car is left-hand-drive but with the jdm interior (usdm interior was quite different, with a 3 gauge dash).

However, the VR4 was never sold in continental europe, so all the 260km/h dash sets only go to 8000 rpm.

You want both (never satisfied, eh?) - it can be done I think. All you need is to take the 260km/h dial fascia out of an appropriate unit, and put it into your existing 9k rpm dash. Then put in an km/h - mph converter, which will recalibrate the dial to the 260km/h range rather than 160km/h (because 260km/h is 160mph, this will work rather neatly).

There's a rep button somewhere ;)

yeah you're right, that dash pic was from a german car. Let me think about your idea (it's a goodie!)

As is mine ;) but the converter may soon be removed and I wonder how the speedo will cope with autobahn speeds considering the RSM has a limiter cut facility turned up to 300km/h  /rally :iloveyou: Germany!

id like to have the top dash in the bottom dash colour with the auto column in the middle... that would be cool!

Top dash is mine! Should be easy to change the light colour to more blueish though I suppose?
