I don't think so. The chassis numbers in the VINs at the bottom of that page don't match either JDM or UK models.

Now, some of those VINs do indeed correlate to JDM VR-4 chassis numbers, so it's a possibility I guess?

UK peeps still look OK though! :smug:

We have a few JDM cars in NZ INSERT INTO post VALUES (including mine). Will get that looked at in my February Service. Should last until then.

Already had the ball joints changed in my car for that reason - didn't know about the recall at the time, so paid for it myself ... :INSERT INTO post VALUES (

Just called my local Mistu dealer about this, and a had a quick chat. Apparently they search for applicable recalls by chassis number. Gave mine over, which is listed in the above text, and the guy said 'there is no outstanding recalls that apply to that vehicle'

So now I'm more confused. Their database is wordwide, and so works for imports too, he even confirmed it was a JDM VR4 from the chassis number.

Also, I can find the recall in japanese, and portugese, but not in English INSERT INTO post VALUES (or american)...

Just curious now, as I've already replaced the bottom arms at my expense.

If I find anything else I'll post...

Happy New Year! :D

Mike.
