Hard to tell really. It is possible i guess to have magnisium alloy rims.

I don't think so. Have a wee look on the MLR ( www.lancerregister.com ) as they will know for sure. I would personally guess that they are an aluminum alloy. For sure, the VIII MR alloys in that style are one of the most sought after Evo wheels, so there must be something good about them.

And to clarify, magnesium alloy wheels certainly do exist! But I don't think they exist as a commonly used OE wheel. They are normally shockingly expensive!

I had magnesium wheels on a Kawasaki Z900 many years ago. They were incredibly light but at a price. Magnesium is very brittle and very expensive. They were around £400 a pop and that was 20 years ago !

Isn't Magnesium super dooper soft? While yes its light, I'm not sure i'd wanna be driving around on wheels that damage so easily, yet cost so much.

These are a good looking wheel, would suit the Galant. -If I didnt already have 3 sets....

they make usual aluminium wheels, but can and magnesium too, but not sure for UK shipping.
