How about an area for posting Car Breakers with Galants;
post location & contact details of the breakers along with any info on car - year, damage, good parts left etc etc

as they are few and far between it might help fellow members trace some parts without having to pay dealer prices???

also breakers in the know could post a list of their Galant or Mitsu spares that might interest galant owners?

what do you think?

Yeah - we've suggested this before - it's a good idea, as to some of us, a car is not a car without one or two 'upgrades' from a salvage yard! :-D

im sorta in the middle of this, ive email loads of breakers, asking that when they get a vr4 in email me, and ill post it..

Barry - I think us non-VR4 peeps would appreciate if if you could include UK spec models in the request as well. We can use parts from later UK INSERT INTO post VALUES (final VR-4 style facelift Galants.

I know quite a few mitsi breakers, I will put the word out to them and see what I get back.

Cool i need a set of 'facelift' 8g rear lights and a sport/elegance rear bumper with the side trims , so this would be of use to me!

Did anyone compile info on breakers / spares suppliers for VR4's?
I need front pads and discs and have been quoted silly money by dealer.

There is a deal in the members area for uprated front discs and pads for about £250. Many are using that set up and no-one has said anything bad about it yet! Is it worth £20 to find out the details? :p

I'll in contact in the new year.
my car is starting to fall apart.. not only the ayc knackered, the brakes are making crunshing noises, major pull on streering..
think ill need 2 new front drive shafts to start with..
perhaps replacement suspension.
