Not been on here for a long time. I have a facelift VR4 Leggie and a very small budget. I have been wanting to lower the car for ages but couldn't afford coilovers and jap springs seem so pricey.

Anyway, decided to risk £100 on some PI springs for a Galant wagon and low and behold, the fit perfectly!! The front is now 40mm lower and the back about 20mm and the car looks wicked. I have 235/40/18 tyres and +35 offset 18" wheels with the inner arches rolled slightly and the stance of the car is now very mean.

Ride quality is 100% the same and no rubbing anywhere. I'm very happy!

So for all those strapped people like me, go for Galant estate PI springs and save a bomb.

Will post some pics later.

Mart.

So you got the arches rolled? Does that not create a gap between the inner arch liner and the arch?

Look good though.
