wynns - noisy lifters

Wynns Hyraulic Valve Lifter Treatment - any good or not worth it? Saw some in the warehouse but didn't want to risk it in my motor!

Doesn't really matter aye, i only ever put oil flush i mine when change the oil. The only down side is that it will make the noise go away but it will come back, always does. There is a oil that some of the guys use but i'm not to sure what it's called? Amsoil i think?

use proma mb-l8

its the only product that works, and also what mitsi service/dealers recommend if you dont wanna do a lifter clean/replacement/upgrade

but it doesnt last forever. about 5000km and the noise will return.

Thanks Gly - where can you get that from and how much is it? Can you add it after a recent oil change?

you can add it after, but you should really do it at the same time,

its around $45 a bottle, which is good for about 2 and a bit treatments.

you can buy it at repco, or mitsi, also its on trademe cheaper at about 35$ a bottle.....
