& he's tried to set up a wireless interblobby thingy?? :thinking: but he admits he's fecked up !! /pan
Iv'e now got a slaptop in front of me... all wired up..... with my desk strop behind !! there's wires coming out of every orrifice & I aint got a clue wots wot ?? /Grrr

I'd hazard a guess that he has unplugged the cable that goes from your router to your computer and plugged it straight into the laptop.
