Actually I read that this golf isnt going into production, I maybe be wrong but I read that VW only did it to revamp the image of the golf and show modders what the base car is capable of becoming it was a one off for a German tuning show.

good for you and your 'identical coolers minus the pipe work' if they are the same as the picture i posted then they are for a subaru imprezza. I'm happy with what i got for the price i paid and to be honest its good piece of kit,well worth it.

And as for your Suburu FMIC's

Suburu standard intercoolers are top mounted /yes

So if it is a FMIC for a Suburu, then it prolly uses the same intercooler as Uprated EVO's :D Just diferrent pipework /pan

Most of the intercoolers that are in these so called car specific kits are all the same stock.. /rally
