I was recently on holiday in Lincolnshire and took a visit to the model car musuem between Mablethorpe and Skegness on the A52 at a little village called Mumby. It is a lovly little musuem very interesting and worth a visit, with a racing scalextric track for kids ,young and old ,loads of cabinets of old and new memorabilia, it really takes you back to your childhood, thats if I ever got out of it. I got chating with the owner ,as I do quiet abit of collecting and was interested to know why no model toy company english, chinese or japanese(yonezawa diapet in particular) had never produced a Galant of the shape used between 1997-2003 (yes I have seen the older versions from the 70s ,80s and early 90s( God does anyone still remember Lassi Lampi)but never one in the newer shape. So the light hearted conclusion to all this is even in the toy car world the Galant in ANY shape or form is as rare as the real thing it self.So you can keep your astons, ferraris, mazdas and what else, the Galants are something of a phenomenon even in the toy world, unless you know better??????

There's a die-cast Galant 8G model. Used to see them on ebay, but not seen one for a while.

Really..........never knew that. Anyone on here got one per chance? Would love to see a picture of it. And the box it comes in, if you still have it. Cheers.
