just thought i would share this with everyone in case they get similar symptons. since fitting the intercooler i started to develop a boost problem. the car would boost up to standard then back of to 0 psi. i thought must be leaking pipe. So under the car i went checking all pipe work loosening and tighening clips left right and center.still problem persisted.checked again thinking the intercooler must be cream crackered. any way to cut along story short i noticed that the bmc-cda airfilter had sucked its own cold air feed in over so it was seriously restricting power. nearly got done by poxy bmw, would of flipped my lid if that had happened. i felt what natural aspiration is like all over again.
if you have boost problems make sure airfilter isn't restricted.
