Flux Capacitors?

Ive noticed recently in quite a few threads that you guys mention flux capacitors LOADS! What is the fascination? Ive even caught myself mentioning them now.
Can anyone shed some light on this as Im begining to wonder if this is a Back To The Future appreciation club cunningly disguised as CVR4...:inquisiti

if you knew anything about cars mate you would know why we go on about them, do you have any idea how vital they are to a cars operation, when you go down to WRD, get them to check out your one, when you get a VR4, just remember there very expensive to replace and dont get me started on the rotary splints
