Lovely car. Not many 03 plate ones around. First impressions...honest seller, good communication. But its a manual which I not like.

Interesting this has no reverse price set so this one could go cheap given that not many people know what this car is in the first place and given the spec it has. Curently bid price £2.20 :)

Looks identical to mine apart from the colour. Will be interesting to see how much it goes for as a guide to tthe value of mine.

Waay too much marketing BS for my tastes.

Why no to a manual?

It has those awful leather seats in. The 'older' v6-24 leathers were far nicer!

I thought they were better then the old ones? I have leather in mine and its a 2000 reg and they are awful but they look different to the ones that came in Galants from 2001+.

the leather on UK facelift models does look a bit "cheap" compared to the pre facelift V6-24s. my dads 06 lancer has the same style leather seats.....

incidently the highest bidder has 0 feedback, so looks like the price will be falsely higher than oit would be with genuine bids. whats the concensus for what its actually worth? i reckon £4500 - £5000 (trade price is around £3495!)

I reckon it should be worth around £5000 but on Autotrader they have it on sale for £4450.

its not on that website and the egay auction has been tugged, guess someone bought it.

I would have been happy paying £4500 for it, if only i could get rid of my astra and spacestar!

It was on there but looks like they have taken it off and like you said, someones most probably has brought it. I have noticed over the past 12 months or so, these cars sell very quick now. There seems to be quite a demand for these cars.

yep, i have noticed that too, there seems to be a steady demand, but the ones in the >£5k price bracket seem to take longer to sell.

year for year, galants are a lot lower priced than equivalent vectras and mondeos, but we know which is the better car!

Actually Mondys are pretty cheap. Example I found - 01Y 2.5 V6 Ghia X with 61k, £3495.

Also, the reason that there's few late model galants on sale is that Galant buyers are very loyal. All they want is another Galant, so when they turned up to the mitsubishi dealers and couldn't buy another one, they've stuck with the last ones they've bought.

I think the V6 Sport are the most sought after ones. I think its lot to do with teh fact that more and more people are beginning to find out just what this car is all about and the first impressions - the looks stand out more then most other cars

V6 sport or the Elegance :pimp2: funnily enough before I bought this car one of the two previous owners had it on motability :speechles would have thought it wasn't the best car to get in and out of, or park.
