I have a 1999 Legnum VR4 and I am looking to replace my spark plugs and was going to fit Denso Iridium Power plugs. Many posts on here mention the IK22 plugs, but the specified plugs by Denso are IK20 for a std car. My car is std apart from a cat back exhaust system, although i aim to go for the WRD downpipe soon.

So anyone know which I should have - the IK20 or IK22?

Many thanks guys! :)

Mart.

Beware the demon Denso....

My tale is here.

I'd get a set of NGKs if I were you.

Factory fit is NGK PFR6J, though these aren't available in the correct gap (0.8mm), you could get the NGK PFR6J-11 plugs and gap 'em down but be careful.

Other choices.

NGK BKR6EIX is the standard heat range Iridium plug.

If you're planning to wang up the boost, it would perhaps be wise to lob in a BKR7EIX instead to ward off the demon detonation!:scholar:
