Anyone got a lowered facelift V6 saloon with a set of 18" alloys? Im considering getting some 18" but I wanted to see what types suit the car..

Will a set of 18"x7" clear the arches as my car is a lowered a fair bit. I tried a quick search for what offset to go for on my car; am I right in saying I will need it between 35 - 40mm?

Appreciate any help/advise.

yep, 18x7" with a 35-40mm offset will be fine. Better than the made-of-cheese stock wheels you have :)

You will also be alright with 7.5's with a 45 offset /yes

Now to find a set which looks the bollocks!

I've been looking for a set of 18s to go on my V6 too, but the ones I really like (these (http://www.topgear.co.uk/acatalog/4x_18_Inch_Jet_Silver_Alloy_Wheels_With_225_40_18_ tyres.php)) only come in 17" for a 4x114 fitment :(

Might go for a set of Kei Force 10s (http://www.performancealloys.com/details.asp?procedure=wheel&id_wheels='Force%2010'&id_wheels_manufacturers='KEI%20Racing'&id_wheels_sizes='18x7.5'&price='156'&permission=443489777) instead - nice lookin wheels!

Does anyone know, by the way, why most websites don't provide fitment details for the wheels they stock? Would it kill them to include information for those of us who know what stud/PCD/offset we want?! /Grrr

I like those Kei Force 10s, do they make them in out fitment?

I found a few I like but il need to photoshop them up against my car to see what they would look like before finding out if they even do them in our fitment..

Have you considered some black centres with a polished stainless lip, like the momo corse?
