My car currently has a NARDI TORINO steering wheel, it's part leather and a lot of fake wood effect plastic. As it has the Mitsi logo in the middle, it's clearly a Manufacturer's standard wheel.

Whilst it does look nice and will no doubt wear very well indeed, it is not the most everyday practical wheel I have seen. At one end of the scale the wood effect part get's freezing cold, especially in this weather. And at the other, it makes my hands sweat when trying to hold on tightly - the end result being sod all grip. I expect in summer it'll be too bl**dy hot to handle as well.

I don't particularily want to buy an aftermarket one but don't like this one. Do Mitsi supply Galants with other types of wheel?

does it have an airbag?

the v6 sport is supplied with a Momo airbag s/wheel, which is pretty good.
my only critism of the momo wheel is that rim is quite thin - i like a thick chunky rim to grip!

The momo steering wheel you get if you have the Recaros is excellent!! very chunky and just the right size, but it has awful looking red grips on it too which really does ruin it in my opinion but the feel makes up for it.

Ok bets on guys- how much is a new Momo steering wheel from Mitsy - my guess - £400 without airbag components

I agree with Brinds sentiments on the momo wheel. Looks a bit ricey, but feels good!

Price..? wouldn't like to guess AT ALL! :rolleyes5 I remember a few months back I was after that plastic funnel that goes into the original air box and they gave a price of around £60 ex VAT!
£30 if you lose that front spolier thingy that remove to tow the car.

I've been toying with the idea of using one of those interor colour sprays you can get and use it on the steering wheel to black out that nasty red, I've heard of great results by many but still wary about trying incase it looks worse.

Thats right. The wheel is a nardi, black in colour. Can't see how you get it off except for a small hole on the left. Are there any precautions to take.

Sorry Brind, I thought you were answering my question about steering wheel removal. I think that picture is from a mitsi website here is another pic from the same car.
