Help.....electronics wiz required!

Anyone out there help me out? I need to operate a relay when I turn my ignition on for 1 second and then operate AGAIN for 1 second when I turn the ignition off again.

Help, please help........10 years ago I could have figured it out but my brain has erased my electronics knowledge in favour of better things!

The input and output need to look like this:


input

..... _______________________..........Ignition On
___|....................................|______Ign ition Off

output

......_...................................._...... ...Relay energised
___|.|_____________________|.|_____Relay de-energised

I can probably find out how tomorrow, Bardwells electronics will know how to. shall I call in in the morning before I come to you ?? or will you have sussed it by then ??

It is unlikely I will have it sorted by then.........unless someone else can help. Take a peek in the mornng and if I have a solution you dont need to stop in at Bardwells on your way.

i could get hold of some timers what would so that but i think youll need two of em

so you need 1 second pulse each time
