I think it's time to change the fair weather battery for a decent unit. I'm going to go for a Mitsu one, but have one question.. are the binding posts a decent size, they are tiny on the Jap battery and I had to mod my new +ve terminal last night to get it to fit, it works but isnt pretty!
Cheers

Not sure what the Mitsu guarantee is, got a genuine Ford one for the Probe, cost over £100 but had a 6 year g/tee!
Found this one though:

which is supposed to fit, £52.73 inc. delivery!

Local Motorsave charged me £48 for a 60AH/550CCA battery with normal posts. A furhter £4.99 got me a pair of alloy post clamps to replace the tiny ones already fitted. Pete will be able to put almost anything on it now.

Just fitted the one from performance batteries today, no problems so far. Had to rotate it as the posts are on the far side of the battery and the cables are not long enough. I'll post a photo up and give an update on how it performs.
