Which wheels do you have? If they are the 15" wheels, then you have a choice anyway between 195 and 205 wide.

What size tyres are you looking for. I have just bought some Nankang NS2 £53 a corner P+P was free and you are looking at about £10 per tyre fitting balance, a bargin. especially as the tyre are 225/40/18.

Oh, you will be wanting to know where i got them from, It's your friend and mine CAMSKILL.

There's some great tyres that will fit your V6:

Goodyear Excellence - fantastic grip, very quiet
Yokohama AVS dB V550 - as above
Dunlop SP 01
Goodyear Hydragrip

It depends what you want from a tyre.

Personally, I value wet grip and quietness above longevity (anything above is 15,000 miles is acceptable to me).

Following Isaac's posts on the Goodyear Execellance, I went for them and they have been fine so far.

If you want a good performing tyre that's a bit cheaper, check out the Kumho KH11. It's not as good as what I mentioned above, but 205s should come in around £47each fitted valved and balanced.

spotted those last night. the advertsing blurb said "an allround good tyre" opposed to "performance!" for the nankangs. i'll have a think

You won't get outright performance tyres in a 60 profile... that's why you can't buy Eagle F1, Yokohama Advan or Kumho KU31s. A good "all round" tyre like the excellence or KH11 will be better than a poor "performance" tyre anyway.

Another one to look into is the Uniroyal Rallye 550.

Also, the Falken Ziex ZE512... some members here rate them quite highly.
