Well the temp and fuel needles work, but the rev and kmh needles don't work, and neither does the right indicater, the left one does, so does the high beam indicator.

Good news though, the speedo and rev counter do actually work in scale!

ohh yeah forgot to say, notice how my ODO says 2km? Yes, I have a 1998 VR-4 that has travelled 2km!

mine did go like that and i fixed it by unscrewing the back
striping it down and cleaning the contacts and putting it back together and it all worked
More by luck than any known skill and it was just the rev and speedo that went

the others are probably just bulbs

The indicator was just a bulb, but I still can't get the lights for those two working. I swapped needles across between a spare dash, and it still didn't work. Put in another dash and it worked fine.

make sure the needles aren't pushed down to far , and that at rest (lifted over the 0 stop)they sit in the same place, i was told this info after i spent a week sorting mine out /Grrr if the needles don't sit in the same place you may have to take it up to 80 odd mph before the needle moves , same with the rev counter , best bet is to get a set of un-molested clocks , remover the glass and then lift the needles over the stop so the needle is somewhere over the odometer , then get your new ones and do the same , then remove the needles on your new ones and then replace them in the same position as the virgin ones , and do not push the needles on too far

no problems with them moving at all, but they just don't light up!

Think I figured it out, one of the contacts to the rev counter wasn't making perfect contact. I'll try it out tomorrow.
