Agreed, although I did go to the Croatia friendly at Portman Road a few years back.

It was worth the ticket price just to hear a group in the upper tier of the North Stand singing "I'm on the top of the world, looking down on Croatians".

I had a wedding at The Grove this weekend. Saw Terry Venebales in reception, Steve MacLaren arrived by helicopter and I had breakfast not far from a very grumpy looking Sol Campbell.

Apparently the Spa was fully booked throughout Wednesday as the footballers and their assorted womenfolk had their facials, spa treatments and unsightly hair removed prior to the big game.

Give me rugby (League or Union) any day.
