Barry I think you need to give them more info and make a better picture....
The front wheel has been cleaned and in natural light looks alot lighter than the "Dirty" grey ones on the back.
I think Barry is thinking of having the Wheels sprayed..... I don't see why, all he has to do is not clean them.....

I prefer a bit of shine on the wheels.

WHAT?!!?!
Heh, seriously, I think dark wheels DO make the car look like it's not been cleaned - at least when your poor car gets a wash for a show, everything looks spangly - I think grey wheels would detract from that.
Also.... Paint your wheels -OR- Buy a nice new (Insert car toy here).....:scholar:

i just think it looks loads better with a darker shade of grey... when those enkeis are bright and clean it doesnt look right on trigger mauve.. stands out to much... /shrug

Thats why I got mine painted R32 GT-R Skyline Gunmetal Grey - it is even a metallic colour and shows up nicely.

Always going to be a matter of personal taste. Having looked at your picture again, I can see what what you mean, but my preference has to be the cleaner or brighter looking one.

Nah, A bit of contrast sets it off - Otherwise it just looks dull. It's not like the wheels are Dulux white or something like that.

i think a darker graphite gray would look really good, if not that color, mayve a hyperblack like i have... but the stock silver looks good also

But barry.... once they are painted and a bit darker.... you would complain that they are too dark!
You would need to clean them every day. I can't see you doing that!

Why not let Derek paint them?
He have some lovely yellow(?) coloured wheels on his for a while!
