Anyone know where you can buy the sill protectors for where the boot opens as shown as my dog has sharp nails and its always a part likely to get scratched. Any places in NZ?

Mark - they are very very difficult to find, it is probably easier to get something custom made for yourself. Remember japanese people don't use their cars for actually carrying things!

Black leather with black trim panels makes the interior of the VR-4 look like Darth Vader's Boudoir. Enough said. /pan

the interior looks great with all the dark black leather, the only thing I need to do now in my blue car is repaint the ugly fake wood centre console

Isaac, I saw a picture of your old car that showed the interior and the fake wood on the dash on that car looked terrible! I've never actually seen the fake wood there before either, normally it is only in the centre part.

Have to agree, black on black isn't as nice as a contrasting colour, although you'd have to be careful picking your shade. Personally I'd go for a darker beige than the one Mitsubishi use in the VR-4's, and then an even darker beige for the Alacantra.
