THe tappets making lots of noise from engine, is this normal for this car? Its terrible.

how we resolve this issue?

The aeriel on the car, the reception very poor on this car. Very poor. Is this like this? I have already changed the aerial on the car 3 times to date and it does nothing to improve reception on radio. whats wrong?

I think there is an article in the members area on how to sort out poor reception.

As for noisy tappets, a good flush and quality oil change can work wonders. Do a search an you shall see you aint alone!

What car do you have - I take it not a VR4, as they don't have an external aerial? Changed the aerial how? Have you checked the wiring?

And as Paul says - flush the oil and then put GOOD stuff in. That should help.

I have V6.

so you sort aerial problem, you have to remove dash board. that would be silly. the plastic will break.

sorry to hijack the thread - but how difficult is it to revove the dash with the airbags etc. I need to remove mine to check the connection behind the ayc light as i don't always get 3 lights on start up and the connection seems dodgy. Should really get someone proper to look at it but don't want to spend the $$ at the moment!

The instrument panel is not hard to remove. The only difficult bit is getting the internal shroud past the ignition/steering column cover.

Just follow that to get access to the AYC lights. It is a really easy thing to do.
