they look good, but you've got rear drum brakes! What size engine does it have?

it is a TurboDiesel Galant (90hp) but i think this is not the point..

the point is that we all love Galants or ?
and this is what the forum stands for...

the drumbrakes have soon to go...a set of rear discs is waiting at my home...

I think brad is just very suprised to see drum brakes, as far as I know all the UK/JDM spec galants have rear disks.

I did not even know that TurboDiesel was available!

Love the Wheels!!

Yeah the reason I noticed it is because my first Legnum had drums too, you can see them in both of the pics here. I really wanted to change them to discs, but I was unsure on how to change them across or if it was even possible, so I never got around to doing it!

In practice I set fire to the front brakes multiple times, and when that happened I could lock up the back drums, so they obviously kept on working even when the fronts were gone.

Nothing like pulling into your garage at home with smoke billowing out of the front wheels!

Wouter - yeah I forgot to mention, I've seen a few JDM 1.8 cars with drums at the rear - just like mine above.

Anyone reckon we could hook up one of the TD engines to a VR4 drivetrain? Probably a little weak on power but I'm sure you could do more with it ;).

Lovely wheels but the drums definitely let them down. Will be good to see it with the disc conversion done.

yes with the 2.0 TD you can do very much..

i aked a tuning factory how much hp are possible...

they said 180hp are no problem --> 100% more power..

complete new motor software
bigger injektors
bigger turbo
bigger Intercooler

i know one car they have done..

its a VW 1.8 TDI (90hp) and it got 170 hp..
