Hi folks, I have just bought my first Galant after seeing them around for what feels like forever and not being able to afford one.

Its pretty basic as far as things on here go but I am chuffed to bits with it, lol

Its a 98 (R) 2.0 GLS estate and to me feels totally new as I have never had Japanese before.

Well, time to look at the threads to see if I can find a few answers so, see ya later.

Welcome, good choice of car. More importantly, which colour is it? There are quite a fex GLS or ex-GLS owners here who should be able to answer any questions you have.

The GLS are usually a pretty solid car. Plenty of people started with them and then moved to a V6 or VR4.
welcome and enjoy the club. Its not just for VR4s!

Oh and i've added some more info to your air con thread. Hope its useful to you.

Thanks Paul, I have been busy reading the old threads on here.

Welcome to the club, I'm also a previous GLS owner too, a good car and very reliable, I had mine for nearly 2 years and loved it to bits, after that I had no option to upgrade to the VR4 :-)
