That does look very nice. How far down the concept to reality line is it Brad, do you know? It looks more like an estate version of the new Lancer tbh.

99% sure Valmes photoshopped it from Lancer + Evo X + BMW 5 series pics

It's not a BMW 5 in the back... It migh not be a photoshop at all... :) actually this photo was found by one of the vr-4.ru members on some Japanese Mitsu website...

PS: And I do think someone should write a letter to mitsu... with just a picture and "who do we have to kill?" question in it... :)

I would buy it on the spot... :) I think its the best looking (and badged) perfomance estate!

PS: Once again - I didn't photoshop it...

WOW! That really does look good.

I'd have both my parents up for sale in a flash if that ever arrived on a forecourt near me. High mileage, but both pretty sturdy - open to offers.

wow
that's stunning
and the 3.8l engine is in 2008 USA Galants iirc...

And if you started with a Galant Fortis, like this,

uploaded/2665/1189530798.jpg

and let a 22 - 42 year old bloke play with photoshop, that vr4 photo is pretty much what you'd get :afro:

but a 3.8tt engine is going to take you into serious Audi S4 territory, and money: £40k plus, I'd guess
:inquisiti

I don't even have a photoshop on my computer... only CorelDraw, so I can make something simple, like this: :-ished:

So the market research is done... now who is going to write a petition to Mitsubishi to get this model ON the conveyor belt*? :)

www.ClubVR4.com www.OZVR4.com and www.VR-4.ru all have expressed the urge to buy this car! :)

PS: *Not me obviously with my somewhat limited English :)
PS3: Still, it's not me, I didn't photos(c)hop it! :) I dunno where it came from! Ahh stop, I've got an idea, it prob came from Japan! :) Damn...

Looks so nice... If only it was real... someone needs to copyright that and send it to mitsi ASAP. Before someone else makes millions from it.

Nah stupid car. There would be next to no point in modifying it. It'd demolish 95% of whats on the roads. I can't even think of what the other 5% would be.

EDIT: Not that I don't want one though. Id take that over any BMW, audi or Merc

bradc

Rubbish, a stock VR-4 will demolish 95% of cars out there, we still modify them.

Personally, I'd still prefer an RS6 V10 Twin Turbo, but the 10G VR-4 would be very very close!

Second that Brad, Can we not have both!.

Ok, so we have our project, now we need the budget. Reckon we can keep the costs down if we make say, about 10 of them. Anyone got a BIG garage somewhere handy ?

bradc
22-09-2007, 08:25 PM
My garage is almost big enough, we have a welder and an 1.5t hydraulic lift. Brent - can you supply stuff that makes engines? :P
