its me again, from Estonia and i need some help.
Here we have only 3 cars - VR4 - and thats why we dont have here knowledge for rapair and part codes.
one car is mine, one Marcel - the golden one, and one galant vr4 more.

I have Legnum VR4 1997, auto, AYC

and now i have few problems
1. radiator crack /Grrr - ok its easy if i looked right then euro galant 2,5 V6 radiator part code is same and it can replace.

2. shock absorbers - Marcel made change for coilovers and he have now spare shock absorbers, and i need them but - are they fit ? 1999-2002 Galant VR4 shocks to 1997 Legnum VR4 ? Marcel bought him self coilover set from 1996 or 1997 Legnum and used them in 2002 Galant. So are they fit contrariwise ? :pimp2:

3. Bushes the BIG problem - we have here dealer who can order me powerflex bushes but i cant find any part code HELP.

4. the engine belt and rollers - where i can find these - price? there is ~170000 in odometer so i think i have to shange belt because i dont know if it ever as shanged.

5. engine mont pad - is they same like euro galant 2,5 v6 or are they only VR4 - where can i find these - price?

I like VR4 and i want to fix car also i invested so much to make from LHD to RHD that i cant just left car.
~10 months and 20000 km /rally
but winter is coming and i need my VR4

is there anybody who can lead me to some useful info ? or
is there anybody who can sell me some parts then ? - bushes, engine mounts, belt and rollers.

1. Sorry - I can't confirm. You could well be right - the mounts will be the same and the engine block is certainly the same. But the VR4 has an intercooler and a turbo in near proximity, plus I guess that the engine will run hotter and therefore need more cooling?
2. I am 95% sure that all VR4 suspension is interchangeable.
3. Search this site on 'poly bushes' and you will unearth some info. For example click here (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11540).
4. There is a company in the UK called Camskill that is one of the places that offers service parts for the VR4. There is a Japanese company called RHD Japan. I can't tell you if either of them ship to Estonia.
5. Click here (http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11846) for the best thread on engine mounts.

Hope all that helps a bit!

I can say for sure all the VR-4 suspension is interchangeable, as I have Legnum Teins in my 94 Galant.

standard galant vr4 shocks are no good in the legnum,
they are softer. and will sag in the rear on a legnum (heavier rear end).

the standard fronts will be fine,

coilovers will be fine coz you can just adjust the height to suit.

the cam belt is different to the v6 2.5 ones, they are only SOHC heads, VR-4's are DOHC
