Walbro pump should come with a new filter, solving this problem altogether.

Kenneth - it will come with a fuel 'strainer' sock over the end of the pump, but will it come with a fresh fuel line filter too?

:inquisiti I thought that WAS the filter?

Where is the filter then? Cause I never found another one when wrecking my old car... but then I wasn't the only one pulling it to bits :P

The one in the middle of the fuel line is about $100 from memory. I replaced it on my ST-R because the original one was dirty.

The tea bag style filter that goes on the end of the fuel pump filters out larger particles and the inline one filters out the really fine stuff.
