rightlong story short, since having my gearbox done badly on my car ive been getting a wierd buzzing noise from the passneger side of the engine bay, by the scuttle panels. now its causing problems, massive problems which is just dangerous.

what happens, you get in car, you move slowly from where you park and put the car on full lock, and then the buzzing comes, but the buzzing locks the brake pedal, and it wont move untill you straighten the wheels back up
it happens whenever your doing under 10mph on full lock, and sometimes using the brake, ive got quite handy thow at pulling thehandbrake up /rally
anyone got any ideas on this, i dont like the fact the buzzing locks my brake pedal at the top so i cant use my foot brake.
anyone got any ideas
its coming from the scuttle panel area on the passenger side udner the bonnet?

can you feel the buzzing through the brakes at the speed ? if so then its an abs fault , you might get away with disconnecting the battery to reset the ecu's if not its a trip to mitsubishi to get ass raped while your car gets put on the MUT to find the fault

edited to say you might be able to get the codes by earthing the obd port pin and reading the flasshing light , but it seems that not all codes are known

when it buzzes, the brake pedal just locks and then judders down, but the steering also gets really heavy, just drove around the yard and it seems to mainly do it when turning right. but you have to swing in left then full lock to the right

Sounds brake / steering related, have you checked to make sure the flexi hoses arent kinked? Are all the ABS sensors connected back up? No warning lights i take it?
