Greetings fellow vr-4 owners, i am in a bit of a jam i changed my timing belt, crankshaft and camshaft seals over the weekend now after about 20 mins driving tcl light comes on and 2 mins later check engine light comes on.

I checked the vacum lines on the firewall but same thing happens.

Any ideas what could be the problem ?

Sounds a bit strange, you may have an airleak somewhere, or maybe the belt was put on one tooth along from where it was supposed to be?

Is the performance reduced in anyway compared to what it was before?

last night i was driving along for 20 mins no light then i pulled up behind an fto at a dead stop and i couldn't pass him till i reached 100 km after i stopped the light came on.

i know after fitting the belt we did not tighten the ic line to the back turbo tight enough and when we revved the engine i popped out and the engine shut down all genuine parts were used cus i waited 1 month for the timing belt from japan and the seals were bought at the mitsu garage it just seems strange

crank sensor hasnt been damaged?

Will check over the weekend?

seeing that the traction control goes first could it be a problem there and it is linked to the engine
