hey every one i have a question for yall i have a 97 2.5 v6 auto legnum and it wont idle does anyone know y that is and if i can fix it how? thanks

There are a couple of common idle problems that come up, on the turbos its usually an air leak, so id have a look to make sure all the hoses are attatched properly and not split.

Next would be the idle stepper motor, there is a write up on cleaning it in the library, but a search will give you the idea.

Other than that, fire up the search function, and see if your symptoms match anyone elses.

Also, you may want to try the DIY diagnostic test, the full write up is in the members area, but you can figure it out from these ones:

If the idle goes up and down and is affected by turning air con on and off, as well as turning the steering wheels, then it is most likely the idle stepper motor needs to be cleaned.
