So the Irish motoring public have been reduced to using 95Ron for too long.
Our government put a very steep tax on super unleaded a few years ago, so suppliers stoped suppling, as you would./wall

But now Maxol have introduced a E5 5% bioethanol, with a nice little octane rating of 99.2.

The according to an Austrailian site all Mitsu's running fuel injection can run this type of fuel without issue.

As it would be nice to recover a few lost horses.../Devil5

Well, 99.2RON is very close to the Japanese 100RON petrol.

Also, I notice the calorific value of the petrol is about level with normal unleaded too - So looks like a winner.

Brim it, add some injector cleaner, reset the ECU and off you go!/rally

Off topic, but at one point I was considering moving to the ROI, until I saw how much road tax you have to pay!

That's why! I was over in Ireland for a week's holiday earlier this month (Kinsale - beautiful!) and I wondered why during 7 days and 500 miles of driving over there I saw ONE garage that sold Super Unleaded!
