I am looking forward with much anticipation to tonight's final. The fact that I have 1/2 hour to get home before kickoff after work makes me grateful I have a VR-4 :P

Tonight's game is going to be epic but I believe that the Springboks will prevail /yes

Hmmm not sure about the result

I'm sure France we pretty sure about a win last night but ***** happens

Going out at 6pm for a meal but will definitely be back before kick off

To many yeah if so and so does this or so and so does that also depends on how the ref controls the game would be good if the ref from last night is there , he let the game flow not like some refs whistle happy

Was it a try? Unfortunately I think not, the camera footage certainly isn't conclusive but it does look like his knee was on the line when he placed the ball down.

Lost in and around the line-out IMO .... SA pinched too many and when we did win our own line-outs it was ofter tap down ball thats hard to controll and too slow

Cant see how the try was not given for the knee.... more likley the foot.... bit of a harsh decision I thought....

At the end of the day England didn't create enough to break down SA, and gave silly points away... and thats never going to win a world cup final

Poor lineout and our discipline let us down in the end.

Looks like the foot was on the line so I agree no try.

Well done to SA, they were the best team of the tournament tbh.

Bad luck boys, you did us proud :iloveyou:

Very disappointing but South Africa deserved the win IMHO.

I'm back... and better than ever!

Internet at home again hooray!

Just got back from the motherland. I am of course wandering around in my Green & Gold, upsetting the neighbours :leer:

Our house was a bit of a conflict zone on the night - that's what you get for marrying the English! And my wife managed to spill red wine on the new sofa mid match :o!

Sadly, this is the first time I've come back from SA with a bit of a heavy heart. It's three years since I was last over ther, and the deterioration in the country is noticeable. We had continual power outages wherever we went; the poor are still destitute, the health minister turns out to be an alcoholic who's still managed to wangle not one but TWO liver transplants... the newspaper editor and journalist who exposed her were about to be arrested and detained as I was leaving. The detective in charge of the case said that he was under immense pressure to produce a result 'acceptable to government'... :undecided... Minister of transport had a warrant issued as he'd failed to turn up in court on a drink driving charge... the list goes on.

Amd after over 11 years in powere, numerous racist laws favouring black people over white (I'm sorry, but racism is racism - whether it's white on black or the other way around), and Mr Mbeki and his ANC government are still blaming the tiny white population for his failures and shortcomings....

Welcome to Africa :(.
