Or whatever you want to call it. ?

1st things 1st…… YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL TO EITHER ENTER OR STAND A CHANCE OF WINNING. :scholar:

I’m running one in my local now & It’s creating huge interest & enthusiasm. There are around 45 people in it [ a few have dropped out ] & in the top 10 currently are 4 of the barmaids !! I’m currently joint last. /Grrr
We did one last season at work, & one lucky person won £880 !!

Basically… me… or someone else, chooses 10 random football matches. We are trying to stick to 5 premiership & 5 championship matches which kick off at 3pm on a Saturday. Last week thought we picked the internationals. All you have to do is predict the CORRECT SCORE for each match. Not easy I know, but that’s the fun of it all.
£2 per week [ or £1 if you like … whatever ] & the 1st person to predict 20 correct scores will win the jackpot ! we have a prize breakdown of 60%..30%..10% . it can be anything you like.
It sounds tough & it is ! last season, 25 of us or so did it, & it took around 17 weeks for someone to get to 20 ! predicting win, lose or draw is bad enough, so guessing the correct score is just a lottery ! I cant get over Portsmouth beating reading 7 – 4…. I predicted 7 – 3 !! [ yeah right ! ]

If we can get at least 10 people interested, then it will be viable… the more the better. & as I said, the more you know about football, the less chance you have of winning.
It would be very nice to see some lucky CVR4 member pick up a very large cheque in the new year.

I’m prepared to do most of the leg work, ie; chosing the matches, checking who got what right, posting up leader board etc. It’s just the logistics of collecting the moneyI cant do.

Anyone fancy it ??

Predicting 20 correct scores!! That sounds very very HARD mate, cant believe someone did it last season.

Erm, I think he means first to 20 over a period of time, not in one week.

I'd be up for that. In fact used to do something very similar online until the bloke running it didn't have time to carry on.

His scoring was slightly different. 1 point for correct result (ie home/away/draw), 3 for the correct score. You also had to pick two players from the 20 games, and got another point for each goal they scored. Probably a bit more involved though, checking everyones goalscorers.
