one has 2 fittings near the oil filter, the other just has one for the starter motor i think, not sure which one i need, has anyone got any pictures or anyways to tell which one is fitted?
cheers

An R-Reg 24 Valve GL?

No such model. Do you just mean a V6-24?

It would most likely be a f5m33 or similar. have a look on the firewall and it will be stamped on the main build plate

If it's the standard issue gearbox it'll be an F5M51. I've looked at the service manual and I can't see any revisions to the gearbox in there.... Maybe as Brad says have a look at the Vin plate, see if that gives any clues?

gearbox code is f5m24 apparently

You're just about right - I assume the above is a typo and you meant F5M42?

Just double checked and the F5M51 wasn't used - so I was talking rollox earlier!!/pan
