Hi all,
I have recently bought a 96 Legnum, and was impressed with all aspects of driving the car, untill the break pedal hit the floor.
While searching for the part that was faulty (ASC/ABS Accumulator) I came across a site called The Dog and Lemon Guide.
The site shows Mitsubishi recalls, I have contacted Mitsubishi uk and waited weeks ,and loads of phone calls befor they informed me that this defect had been sorted.
Now if this problem had been put right the Accumulator would not have a gas part with the dodgy diaphram, but the symptoms are the same as the problem with the gas filled accumulator.
My problem is, if it's been in for the recall, why have they put the same faulty part on as a replacement, and if it hasen't , why are they fobbing me off.
Can any one help. PLEASE. Daz. (pissed off and breakless)
thanks fo the info guys, just one other thing ( i know this is stupid , but) where is the accumulator situated and where do i find the part number?
