Spotted in Tesco's, they do 2litres for about £8something

2 tubs should get you up to level, and three if you wanna fill with some left over to top up (if needed)

Cheaper than halfrauds own!

I very much doubt it's proper fully synth though at that price.

Dunno, can they list it as fully synth?

They also do a multigrade dino, a semi-synth and then the full synth

Still, its beating my part-synth prices, and has all the right full synth certifications ont he bottle.....

What standards does it meet?

I'd imagine it is a cracked esther based oil, i'm sure I read something about that in one of Oilman's long winded way over my head posts.

Mmmm..... Hydrocracked was my first thought too. Would be interesting to find out. I certainly would be surprised if it's a real synthetic at that price.

not a bad option for a flushing oil though.

Anyone going to tesco anytime soon to check the spec?

I pay these prices for a good semi-syth, the fully synth will still rate and outperform the semi dino, so looks like it could be high spec for low cost. Tesco do have a lot of buying power, probably get it from the same supplier as their fuel - anyone know who that is?

May be ideal for us v6 owners, or a good 2 day flush for the turbos!
