How many are there in the country?

This has been asked before but..
How many Galant VR-4's INSERT INTO post VALUES (Saloon/Legnum) are there registered in the UK?

I was thinking about sending an email to the DVLA but thought it'll probably be pointless.

I'm very curious because they're just not seen down here, including the normal Galants of the past two facelifts.
I stumbled across a site yesterday which was showing about 10 or so newish VR-4s that had barely been broken out of their boxes.

I told a mate that there is only about 50 in the country :cool1: as a guess..... probably completely wrong but.

i think vbj sold about 50 the las few years. but yeah i would like to know aswell!!!!!!

I didn't think the DVLA would give out that info and thats another reason the "First Big VR-4" poll will give us a better idea over a period of time.

Barry, is there any way you can ask people to fill in the poll automatically when they register ?

I saw 2 VR-4's down here months ago, before I seriously thought about getting one.
One was dark blue and the other I think was silver.
So that'll make 3 down here.. of course that is only those I've seen.

Oh I wish money was no object, I would buy the lot and give em out to me family and friends so they call all enjoy the thrill of VR-4 ownership - and join our Club of course ! :D

A few years ago i remember seeing an for sale add in a uk magazine INSERT INTO post VALUES (possibly CCC) for an E39A VR-4, 5000 pounds if i remember rightly, i'll try dig it up tommorrow so i can scan it and post it up.

Early shape VR-4's were never sold new in the UK correct?

There are two other Vr-4's where I live one is silver and the other is a mauve Legnum, the silver one has huge red bucket seats, not very nice!
