Hi just wondering if any of you have done a set of rear shockers on a saloon 2001 model? Whats the best way to get to the top mounts? don't want just to dive in and wreck anything
cheers

asthe man said. pull the backrest out of the back seat. you will have to pull the base out then undo the bolts that hold the backrest in

There are two plastic lugs that you need to pull forward at the front of the rear seat base to release it. Lift it out of the car and then there will be 3x bolts that you need to remove to release the top part of the seat. I can't remember the size. You will need to lift it up and out ... if you get what I mean. Be careful when you lift the top part out of the car, you don't want to scratch the paintwork. You can then see the top mounts. There is a rubber cap that you have to lift off both sides and then it's just a case of undoing the two top mount nuts. I am pretty sure they are 14mm.
