Year of manufacture

Is anyone able to find out the year of manufacture of the car with VIN: EC5W-0006188
Friend of mine just bought it but he is not sure about the age of the car.

That one will be a 1996

I can get the details for my own car, which BTW is an JDM import, it was just my mates NZ new VR4 that doesn't show the build date in my version of CAPS. /Grrr
