91 VR4 4WS light on (in dashboard)

My car just came back from replacing the control arm bushings, and the 4WS light is now on -- solid. Any ideas what is wrong, and how to fix it???

Hi and Welcome to Club VR-4. We're more biased towards the 1996-2003 Galant/Legnum VR-4s on here and as such don't really have any experience with the 4WS system that Mitsubishi used on the 6Gs - The 8Gs aren't fitted with it you see.

The only thing I can suggest is to check the wiring connections and such, and maybe also get the car 4 wheel aligned? Might be worth a shot?

Excellent question.
The answer is: bone dry.
BINGO... my venerable mechanic left it on empty.
Have to run & get some fluid, will report back, but I'm sure this is the fix!!!)
