Headlamp help please!!!!

Hi,

I have a 96 vr4 legnum and the dipped beam bulb (H1) on the nearside has decided to not work....i changed the bulb even tho it looked ok.

I measured the voltage at the bulb and it came out at something like0.02v and the voltage at the fuse (intact not blown) was the same, whilst the fuse for the other bulb was 12v+ as expected.

Please can someone tell me where to look next?

Are you sure you have changed the right one? Am sure the dipped beam is a H7 bulb?

Yep - dipped beam should be H7.

The bulb fits into a holder - check the spade connectors on the holder on both sides - the bulb side and the loom connector side.

errr , he is not part of the management , but you could say it's his second home :P

( He only lives 5 minutes walk from the abbey )
