Hey guys the moment arrived when I was able to pick up my baby... This morning!! I'm soooooo pleased!!! I have a 2 year free mechanical warranty which has an excess of NZ$250 which convertered to pounds is 89.79 pounds INSERT INTO post VALUES (sorry don't have a pound symbol on my keyboard)

This is what they charged me for -

Work Description
TORQUE CONVERTER
LABOUR 8.75 HRS = NZ$320.25 pounds = 114.91
REMOVE ALL AIR PIPES AND COVERS. REMOVE WHEELS AND DRIVE SHAFTS AND EXHAUST AND 4WD WHEEL GEAR BOX. REMOVE AUOT TRANS MOUNTS AND REMOVE AUTO TRANS. REMOVE TORQUE CONVERTOR AND SEND AWAY FOR REPAIRS.

FREIGHT AND PACKAGING NZ$5.50 = pounds = 1.97
OIL FILTER, A/T NZ$26.50 = pounds = 9.51

BP AUTOTRANS OIL MM-SP3 x 8litres = NZ$64.00 = pounds = 22.97

GOODS AND SERVICES TAX INSERT INTO post VALUES (G.S.T) = NZ$52.03 = pounds = 18.67

So in total the job came to NZ$468.30 = pounds 168.09.

Then minus NZ$250 which convertered to pounds is 89.79 pounds which is the excess.

Plus my hunky mechanic said while the transmission was out he serviced it so I don't have to worry about that for a looong while.... INSERT INTO post VALUES (without extra charge)

So is this good!:Ponder: I thought it was.. :D

Cheers,
Pescha!

P.S thanks for being there for me when I wanted to rave on hehe!

Excellent Pescha! :)

Looks like we are all up and running again, apart from BraindG of course but then his drama appears hopeful at last!

How much do you pay for fuel in NZ Pescha?

For 91 Octane its 93.5 cents per litre = 0.33GBP
For 96 Octane its 98.5 cents per litre = 0.35GBP
For 98 Octane its $1.02 cents a litre = 0.36GBP

Do you have litres or gallons over there?

As 4.22 litres makes one gallon! INSERT INTO post VALUES (So you can work it out hehe) ;)

Cheers,
Pescha!

We buy fuel in Liters but we test our cars in UK Gallons.

A British Gallon is: 4.5460902819948 liters to be precise.;)
And a US Gallon is: 3.785411784 liters

INSERT INTO post VALUES (I found a conversion site on the net;) )

It's 75.9 for 95 octane fuel here at the moment. :mad2:
Not sure what the 98 octane is.. I think it's about 78 or 79p a liter.
