Well, 1500 grit wet and dry to get rid of the orange peal (bit risky but worth it)

Few passes with a dual action polisher with a meguiars cutting compound, then a final pass with a polishing compound. Finally followed by one layer of Wax.

Was fun to do and that particular panel is like a mirror now :). Just gotta keep my eyes open for a pyrenees black facelift leggie with moonroof, type S, recaro interior.

Me thinks it may take me a year to a) find one and b) afford one :P.

And in answer to your question it isnt hard to make these cars sexy as they are sexy by definition :D:afro:

tbh black isnt hard to keep looking nice it just takes effort, weekly washes with the correct technique and an occasional use of quick detailer keeps her looking sweet.
