Mintex Xtreme Brake Pads

Has anyone had them fitted with grooved brembos? If so any problems? Just asking as those were fitted to mine today and God they do squeal!!! I know they need bedding in but I got the funny feeling the sqeal will stay....

I have seen Ferodo DS2500 and Carbotech Panther Plus pads recommended by a few people on here.... Will the be any good with Brembos?

Brembos seem to be noisy brakes whatever you do - And grooved discs can exacerbate the problem. Also pad compound has some bearing - the 'performance' oriented pads are nearly always noisier than standard.

A good vigorous bedding in helps, but you could find they're always a bit noisier than you would like. You could also try a new set of shims?

Carbotech XP8's squealed so much I took them off and fitted Mintex MDB2592.
These are silent, low dust and OK for fast road use. Never used them on track
although some of the MLR boys have.
