Well after being away for a few years although always wearing the T-shirt from the Posse's first visit to Castle Combe, circumstances have now conspired to finally get me back into VR-4 ownership

Hopefully a deal will be done within the next week or so.....

...and should be seeing some of you at Easter!

Come on Chris join the dark side (RWD) - you know you really want to and your driving is more than upto the challenge /rally

We weren't exactly hanging about in that ST last time on the Ring, albeit FWD actioned.

Good luck finding a new car and I take it the glove will be on board :scholar:

Looks like VR-4 ownership is on hold

Deal for car did not work out so still with Big Blue

Will see what develops over next week or so but likely to have ST3 at Easter

See you Easter - Usual Suspects might actually make it to the Dorint this year - we don't have to buy any dodgy looking gloves ?

Well any deal had to involve the ST3

Although a 'family hatchback' it is more of a specialist car with its performance and running costs so a private sale would mean waiting for the right buyer to come along

So looking for a VR4 and a decent trade-in deal......

Saw a nice looking white saloon at WSM but further checking found the posts on here so backed away from that one

...although I did discuss the car with my local dealer at Dursley and hoping to sort a deal, they asked a few questions at WSM...

... and they got some questionable replies about the full service that the car received

I told my local dealer of some of the background and that I would not trust the WSM dealer nor believe their history of the car

So carried on searching - found a few cars of interest but no deal possible so keeping Focus for now
