What is thre recommended fuel for a Legnum STR (AWD V6)? 95 RON or better, right? Could you run it on 91?

I've been putting 91 into mine with no problems at all. Typically get 8-9l/100km out of it as well, including city driving.

Oh OK. Am asking on behalf of someone who has one. Do u notice that it runs better with 95 or 98 though? Thanks!

I see.

How about you other guys who have V6 non-turbo Legnums / Galants? What RON fuel do you use in them?

Thanks!

hmm really - might have to try that one out. I figured that because of the low compression ratio it was less important to put good fuel into it.

My '00 V6 Sport runs quite happily on 95ron, its currently got some 99ron in it as a treat!

Ever use 91 RON in it? Ho did you find your car's performance then?

Though I guess you may never have tried it due to its rarity - it says in Wikipedia:
In the UK, ordinary regular unleaded petrol is 91 RON (not commonly available), premium unleaded petrol is always 95 RON, and super unleaded is usually 97-98 RON

TBH I dont think i've ever seen 91ron over here. Usually 95ron is the most common, then 99ron.
