Just wondering if a '96 Legnum has a fuse for the SRS and which one it would be. I know it would be one of the many under the dash. Anyone know?

No idea at the moment. Why do you want to know? Isolating a sfety system seems a bit strange?

You will need to disconnect the battery before or reinstalling a fuse for SRS, just that spark can be enough to set it off, it takes very little voltage.
Take the negative terminal off and isolate it wrap it in insulation tape if need be,
WAIT at least 1 minute, before caring out any work.
Fuse 4 and 13 are the ones you want.
DO NOT REPAIR ANY WIRING ON THE SRS, REMOVE AND REPLACE IT.
Use caution you are playing with explosive's, I have seen a few people hurt from srs systems, buy not following a few simple rules.

Ah! thanks!
It's just my passenger seat has a fault with it's SRS, I've had it checked out. It passes WOF I just thought it might be easy to get rid of the SRS light on the dash
You mean you've got side impact airbags? Wow, those are pretty rare.
