Does anyone know where I can get some non-rusting wheelnuts for my V6 Sport (yr 2002)? The ones on there look rubbish. The locking ones don't look much better.

Do I need to know anything about threads and diameters etc?

:sad3: How can you tell I don't know the first thing about this sort of thing?

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

Hi
You could try http://www.funkyproduct.co.uk/

They do wheel nuts I'm sure :D

Nick

Thanks. They only do Ralliart at £103 a pack. Flippin 'eck.

I'll give them a call as they do lots of wheels, but no nuts listed.

I have McGard lockers fitted to mine and now issues so far - the place I got 'em reckoned they are the dogs danglies: http://www.mcgard.com/deutschland/englisch/e_frameset1.html

You should be able to get them locally from a good tyre/wheel place and should cost around £25 - £30 tops :-D

The lockers come in packs of four for that price, though. If you're looking for ordinary (non-locking) wheel nuts, try "this place (http://www.graystonengineering.com/wheelnutmenu.htm)" which looks like they know what they're about.

The url is http://www.graystonengineering.com/wheelnutmenu.htm (doesn't seem to be highlighted on the message above)

The sport uses the same hubs as the GLS, and after some arse at a tyre shop cracked my old locknuts, I got a replacement set from Halfords for the princley sum of £35. They're rust resistant and I had no problems with fitting them :)

Mine are currently like that. They completely ruin the look of the car from the side. Especially the locking wheel nuts ... all are bloody brown in colour!

Can't wait till Friday ... Payday! :-D
