Just checked the fluid levels today (engine cold).

I noticed the power steering fluid is below the MIN mark.

What make/type do I need to top it up?

AFAIK, there are no MITSI garages in Northern Ireland.

I'm using the same ATF from amsoil for the power steering as I use in the gearbox

Thanks, guys.

I assume it's OK to just add Amsoil ATF to the current fluid?

i think any ATF will do as long as its not 50p for 10 gallon stuff .

Even that would probably do... the PAS fluid isn't under any particular stress. I use castrol dexron III to top mine up (it leaks).

I have a "squeaking" sound coming from the engine bay. It does not screech like a belt (I had them changed at the last service as it/they were noisy).

It's seem to be there only at idle and upt to 1200 rpm. Could it be the power steering pump?

I might go for the Castrol in the mean time.

Decided to buy a bottle of STP stuff with an additive to stop leaks - just in case I had one.

Squeaking still there. :(
